About the Owner
Mr. William Haigler is a native of Huntersville, NC and a 2012 Graduate of NC State University from where he holds a B.S. in Agricultural Science with concentrations in Landscape Horticulture and Biological / Agricultural Engineering. From an early age, machinery and horticulture seemed to come as second nature to him. Throughout High School, William was active in the Horticulture Department as well as the FFA holding various officers positions. It was then that he determined he was destined for a career in the Landscape Industry. His first job in high school and throughout college was working at Turtle Creek Nursery in Davidson, NC and learning about plant propagation, nursery production, as well as learning the art of retail plant material sales. Upon graduation from NC State University, William decided to form what is now Uncommon Grounds.
